What is Buddha in Blox Fruits?
Buddha is a Legendary Beast-type fruit that turns the user into a towering golden giant. Its icon is based on Budai, the laughing monk often mixed up with the historical Buddha, and the shop lists it as able to M1 even though the fruit itself has no attack move; that M1 refers to the sword or fighting style the user keeps while transformed.
While transformed, the user gets a big damage reduction, a taller hitbox, and up to 8 times the normal range on melee and sword TAP attacks once awakened. Its own moves, Impact, Buddha Leap and Buddha Explosion (or their awakened versions), hit hard and cover a wide area, which is why it has been the standard mid-game grinding pick for years.
Guides still rate it S tier for that reason. It is not the flashiest fruit in PvP, but the combination of size, damage reduction and huge melee range makes it one of the most efficient farming tools in the game.
