What is Yeti in Blox Fruits?

Yeti is a Mythical Beast-type fruit built around ice. Untransformed it throws snowballs and ice blasts with very low cooldowns, and transforming with V turns you into a huge ice creature with about 46.5% damage reduction, faster speed, shorter cooldowns and the ability to walk on water.

Its moves are simple but effective: Arctic Clap is a fast straight-line ice explosion, Frostbite Boulder throws a bullet-fast snowball, and Tundra Rush grabs and slams. Most guides say the transformed form is better in every way, with more damage, less knockback and shorter cooldowns than untransformed.

Yeti got another 10% transformed damage buff in the August 2026 balance patch, though a later, less publicized patch added end lag to its transformed C. It has its own mutation, Fiend, and remains S tier, especially for sea events and countering Dragon users thanks to its very low cooldowns.

Is Yeti good?

Strengths 6

  • S tier and considered better transformed than untransformed in almost every way.
  • Very low cooldowns make it one of the most spammable Beast fruits.
  • About 46.5% damage reduction while transformed.
  • Ice platforms make it one of the best fruits for sea events and helping teammates cross water.
  • Gained another 10% transformed damage in the August 2026 patch.
  • Effective counter to Dragon and Buddha users thanks to fast, high-knockback moves.
What players say

S tier and a favorite for sea events and low-cooldown PvP, buffed further in August 2026 despite a smaller end-lag nerf to its transformed C a few weeks later.

Weaknesses 6

  • No M1 until you transform.
  • C is single-target and unsafe to use for grinding since you're not immune to attacks during it.
  • A later 2026 patch added end lag to transformed C.
  • Cannot use swords, guns or fighting styles while transformed.
  • Z cannot be aimed vertically and has a short range.
  • High mastery requirements, up to 300 for V.

How to use Yeti well

  1. 01

Yeti's low cooldowns make it good against Dragon; keep pressure on with Z and X while they're on cooldown.

    PvP
  2. 02

Avoid spamming C for grinding since it leaves you exposed for the whole animation.

    Grinding
  3. 03

Use X or Z on water to drop an ice platform for your team during sea events.

  4. 04

High knockback from C and F can push Buddha users away, shutting down their M1.

    PvP
  5. 05

Chain transformed moves together; Yeti's kit stays chainable even while being spammy, unlike some other fruits.

    Combo
  6. 06

Stay transformed for most fights; it has higher damage, less knockback on you and shorter cooldowns than untransformed.
