What is Control in Blox Fruits?
Control is a Mythical Natural-type fruit built around the Domain: a large spherical zone you summon with Z where you get access to its full move set. Outside the Domain you only have Base Mode's X, C and F. Inside it you can switch between Dagger Mode and Fist Mode, each with its own full kit.
Dagger Mode leans on fast slashes and a grab-and-pull C. Fist Mode summons cubes you throw or stand on, which makes it strong for raids since you can fight from the air while staying almost untouchable. Both modes share a powerful but very high-cooldown V, Total Concentration, which can trigger a cutscene combo if you fill its meter.
It is one of the most expensive fruits in the game and needs Admin Panel research and Fragments to fully upgrade. After the August 2026 balance patch its moves got longer cooldowns and smaller hitboxes outside the Domain, but guides still rank it S tier for its utility, stuns and damage.

Strengths 6
- S tier for utility: strong stuns, area damage and one of the only fruits that buffs your sword.
- Fist Mode cubes let you fight from the air, which makes raids much safer.
- Gamma
Blade in Base Mode pulls enemies toward you no matter how far they run. - Total Concentration is a near-unblockable stun combo with invincibility while it plays out.
- Anti-Drowning Protocol means you never need to worry about the sea.
- One of the only fruits that also buffs weapons, alongside
Buddha.
What players sayS tier and one of the most technical fruits in the game: strong for raids and stuns despite August 2026's cooldown and hitbox nerfs, but it takes real effort to learn all three modes.
Weaknesses 6
- One of the most expensive fruits, and needs Admin Panel research plus a lot of Fragments to fully upgrade.
- Since August 2026, Base Mode's X and C have longer cooldowns and Dagger Mode's X and C have smaller hitboxes.
- Heavy VFX can cause major FPS drops on lower-end devices.
- Weak in sea events since X and V can't hit sea enemies.
- V has the highest mastery requirement in the game alongside
Dragon and
Spirit, and its held version needs a separate upgrade. - Loses all momentum outside the Domain, since only X, C and F work there.
How to use Control well
- 01
Equip Control and wait about 2 seconds before your first move; it reloads its animations every server join.
- 02
Land F then use it again to fake a teleport, then hit X. It baits enemies into dodging the wrong way.
Combo - 03
In Fist Mode, keep throwing M1 cubes onto NPCs for continuous damage without needing to reposition.
Grinding - 04
Charge a cube with F before throwing it; charged cubes deal 50% more damage.
PvP - 05
Stand on your own Fist Mode cubes to fight from the air during raids and stay hard to hit.
- 06
Held V gives full invincibility while it plays out, but only use it once you have the Total Control Override upgrade.
