Murder Mystery 2 (MM2)

MM2 is short for Murder Mystery 2, a Roblox game by Nikilis. Each round one player is the Murderer, one is the Sheriff and everyone else is Innocent and must survive. It has had 31.1B visits.

Nikilis created Murder Mystery 2 and released it on Roblox in January 2014. It is one of the oldest games still in the Roblox top charts.

On PC press 1 to hold the knife, then press E or right-click to throw it. On mobile tap the throw button, then tap a player. On Xbox, LB equips and LT throws. Full steps in how to throw the knife in MM2.

Spend 1,000 coins on any shop box (each has a 1 in 500 godly chance), play events, which give godlies through quests and event passes, or trade. See how to get godlys in MM2.

Only with Robux. Diamonds buy boxes (100 each) and Mystery Keys (125 each). Coins come free from rounds: up to 40 per round, or 50 with the Elite game pass.

Coins appear around the map every round: you can collect up to 40 a round, or 50 with the Elite game pass. Survive and keep collecting until the cap, then spend 1,000 on a shop box.

Play rounds to earn XP. At level 100 you can prestige, which takes you back to level 1, up to Prestige X. You need level 10 to trade.

No date yet. The Summer Event ran from July 23 to August 23, 2026, and Nikilis has said a big update comes after it. Halloween events usually start in the second half of October. See the next MM2 update.
