Rainbowx3.5
Hatch roll, the rarest one: about 1 in 100.
Every Steal An Egg mutation and its income multiplier.
Every pet rolls two separate things when it hatches: a colour mutation and a size. Both multiply its income, so a big pet with a rare colour can earn many times its base rate.

Hatch roll, the rarest one: about 1 in 100.

Only from the Parasite Egg, earned in the Hungry Frog feeding event. Never from a normal hatch.

Use a Mutation Consumable on an egg: 10% chance. Not from normal hatches.

Buy it in Dr. Scramble's shop and apply it to an egg: 10% chance.

Hatch roll: about 4 in 100.

Sakura Incubator only (Cherry Blossom event, not active right now) or random eggs during admin abuse.

Sakura Incubator during the Cherry Blossom event.

Hatch roll: about 6 in 100.
Size is rolled separately from colour and shows as the pet's weight in kg. That is why you can hatch a Golden Giant, or a plain Huge with no colour at all.
Income = base income x colour multiplier x size multiplier. Size rolls are much more common than rare colours, so weight usually matters more.
Growth slows down for very big pets: at 100x the normal weight a pet earns about 17x its base, at 200x about 23x, and at 1,000x about 45x.
| Normal pet | $100/s |
| Golden + Giant (x2.5 x 3) | $750/s |
| Rainbow + Huge (x3.5 x 5) | $1,750/s |
What is the best mutation in Steal An Egg?
Rainbow at x3.5 income. Hatch roll, the rarest one: about 1 in 100.
How many mutations are in Steal An Egg?
8 colour mutations: Rainbow (x3.5), Parasite (x3), Fractured (x2.75), Scrambled (x2.75), Golden (x2.5), Spirit Bloom (x2.5), Bloom (x1.25), Silver (x1.2). Size is a separate roll on top.
Do mutations and size stack?
Yes. Income is base income x colour multiplier x size multiplier, so a heavy pet with a rare colour earns the most.
How do you get Rainbow in Steal An Egg?
Rainbow is a normal hatch roll with about a 1 in 100 chance. There is nothing you can do to raise it, so hatch as many eggs as you can.
