What is Dreadscale in Steal An Egg?
Dreadscale is the top pull from the Monster Egg, added in the Monster Update. It is a spiky, armored creature and one of the hardest pets to land from that egg's pool.
You get a shot at it from the regular Monster Egg, or from a Monster Chest earned by feeding Infested Eggs to the Hungry Monster event. Either way the odds are low, so most players open a lot of eggs before one drops.
There is also a Mecha version, 
Mecha Dreadscale, which can appear if a hatch gets a separate Mecha reroll on top of pulling Dreadscale, making it one of the rarest possible outcomes from the egg.
