What is Kitsune in Steal An Egg?
Kitsune is the Divine pet of the Cherry Blossom biome, the deepest regular zone in Steal An Egg, sitting past Cosmic at the far end of the run.
The twist is that the guardian monster patrolling Cherry Blossom's nests is also called Kitsune in most guides, and it is the fastest chaser in the game, so grabbing the egg means outrunning a creature with the same name as the pet you are trying to hatch.
The gate posts a Speed requirement of about 2.5 billion to walk out with an egg, but most players who pull it off consistently carry closer to 2.9 to 3.5 billion.

How to get Kitsune
Is Kitsune good?
Strengths 4
- A Divine pet from one of the deepest biomes in the game, with a strong income.
- Clearing Cherry Blossom's Index adds a permanent Speed and cash reward on top.
- The biome also unlocks the Sakura Incubator and Great Bloom event for extra rewards.
- Reaching this deep already means your Speed can carry you through nearly every earlier biome.
Weaknesses 4
- The posted 2.5B Speed gate is barely enough; most players need closer to 3B or more to escape safely.
- The guardian chasing you shares its name with the pet, which makes guides confusing to read.
- Cherry Blossom is one of the last regular biomes, so getting there at all takes a long grind.
- A single bad angle on the escape run can cost you the whole trip.
How to use Kitsune well
- 01
Push your Speed toward 3B or more before attempting a Cherry Blossom run, the posted 2.5B minimum leaves almost no margin.
Grinding - 02
Grab the egg and head straight for the exit rather than exploring, the guardian is the fastest chaser in the game.
- 03
Visit the Sakura Incubator with a
Crane to unlock the Great Bloom event while you are farming the biome.
Did you know?
Cherry Blossom sits past Cosmic and is the deepest regular biome in the game.
The pink-and-purple Kitsune Egg and the guardian chasing you share the same creature design.
