What is Werewolf in Blox Fruits?
Werewolf is the Mythical mutation of
Tiger and the first mutation ever added to the game. It turns the user into a wolf-human hybrid with heavier, more aggressive attacks in exchange for being slower and harder to aim than base Tiger.
Its Z move, Finger Revolver, fires a spectral wolf head that can be held for extra heat-seeking shots and is one of the hardest-hitting moves in the game up close. A Fire Meter fills as the user transforms and lands hits, and once it is full the user can push into Blazing Form, a stronger second transformation with faster cooldowns and a life-steal passive that fully heals the user on a kill.
Werewolf sits in S tier and is considered one of the best mutations in the game for PvP. It is not a great pick for early grinding though: its high mastery cost and heavy knockback make it a poor choice before the Second Sea, and it can be shut down by
Ice, which stops it from healing back its lost health.

Strengths 5
- Rated S tier and one of the best mutations in the game for PvP.
- Finger Revolver hits extremely hard up close, especially transformed.
- Life-steal passive fully heals the user on a kill in Blazing Form.
- Fast, heavy-hitting attacks once transformed, with reduced damage taken.
- Good for Sea Events, since its Z move can hit Sea Beasts fully.
Weaknesses 6
- High mastery costs make it a poor pick before the Second Sea.
- Heavy knockback on several moves hurts its grinding and combo potential.
- Cannot use fighting styles, swords or guns while transformed.
- Countered hard by
Ice, which stops its healing from working as intended. - Blazing Form only lasts 60 seconds and leaves the user in a slowed Overheat state afterward.
- Very expensive to obtain now that the event routes are gone.
How to use Werewolf well
- 01
Fight transformed whenever you can. The life-steal and damage reduction make trades much safer than staying human.
PvP - 02
Open with X Spiraling Kick to drag the enemy in, then follow with Z for the big hit.
Combo - 03
Save Blazing Form for a fight you plan to win outright; getting a kill in it fully heals you, but it only lasts 60 seconds.
PvP - 04
Watch your Fire Meter before committing to a fight. Entering Blazing Form mid-combo can catch an opponent off guard.
Defense - 05
Untransformed Werewolf is not great for grinding; switch to a faster fruit for early islands and save Werewolf for PvP and bosses.
Grinding - 06
Avoid extended fights against
Ice users. Their damage cuts into your healing, which removes Werewolf's biggest advantage.
