What is Rocket in Blox Fruits?

Rocket is a Common Natural fruit that fires small missiles from the user's arm and feet. It is the cheapest fruit in the shop and, along with Spin, is always in stock, so new players can grab it the moment they start the game.

Every move breaks Instinct and has almost no wind-up, which makes Rocket forgiving for beginners: point at an enemy, fire, and the explosion does the rest. F doubles as a slow flight move for getting around the First Sea before a player can afford a faster fruit.

The catch is low damage. Guides now place Rocket at the bottom of the tier list once players reach the Second Sea, since sharper Natural and Elemental fruits outgrind and outfight it easily. It is best treated as a first fruit to sell or trade up from, not a long-term pick.

Is Rocket good?

Strengths 5

  • Cheapest fruit in the game and always in stock.
  • Very low mastery to unlock every move.
  • Short cooldowns and almost no wind-up.
  • Every attacking move breaks Instinct.
  • Good early flight option for getting around the First Sea.

Weaknesses 4

  • Low damage once players leave the First Sea.
  • X and C only aim at the ground, so it struggles against airborne enemies.
  • Missiles from Z travel slowly and are easy to see coming.
  • Outclassed quickly by almost every other fruit.

How to use Rocket well

  1. 01

Use Z to poke groups of low-level enemies from range while you level up in the First Sea.

    Grinding
  2. 02

C covers a lot of ground fast, so use it to close distance before switching to a sword or fighting style for the real damage.

    Combo
  3. 03

Since Rocket is always in stock, there is no reason to save up for it early; buy it the moment you can afford it.

  4. 04

F flies slowly but still beats swimming, and it helps you dodge Sea Event chip damage on the way to an island.

Rocket buffs, nerfs and changes

  1. Update 20
    • newRocket replaced the older Kilo fruit.

Did you know?

Rocket replaced an older fruit called Kilo in Update 20.

A physical Rocket fruit can be bought from a trader NPC for slightly more Robux than the permanent version costs from the dealer.

Rocket and Spin are the only two fruits guaranteed to always be in the dealer's stock.

Where this comes from

Checked 2026-09-29 against 3 sources and written in our own words. Numbers follow the official update notes first, then the wiki, then players.

Where sources disagree
  • How weak Rocket is: One set of 2026 guides ranks Rocket, Spin and Spring together in F tier as outclassed starter fruits. BloxGuidesGG's September 2026 list is a bit kinder and puts Rocket in C tier as a fine First Sea pick that fades fast. We show the more detailed BloxGuidesGG ranking.
