About the Oryx

You can hatch it today from the Royal Desert Egg; the Royal Desert Egg gives it about a 18.5% chance per hatch.

Like every pet it comes in 12 forms: normal, Neon and Mega Neon, each on its own, Ride, Fly or Fly Ride. A Mega Neon Fly Ride Oryx takes 16 full grown Oryxs plus a Fly-A-Pet Potion (255 Robux) and a Ride-A-Pet Potion (130 Robux).

It learns 4 tricks as it grows, from Sit as a Newborn to Jump at Teen.

What it costs to hatch a Oryx

EggChance per hatchEggs on averageFor one OryxFor a Mega Neon (16)
Royal Desert Egg18.5%5--

Averages: luck varies a lot, and you could hatch it on the first try or much later. Free eggs from the Task Board and age-ups lower the real cost.

Tips for the Oryx

  1. Hatch the Royal Desert Egg: it gives the Oryx the best odds (about 18.5% per hatch).
  2. You need 4 full grown Oryxs for one Neon, so keep aging the copies you get instead of trading them away early.
  3. Only one of the four pets you fuse needs Fly or Ride: the Neon (and later the Mega Neon) keeps it. That saves buying a potion for every copy.
  4. Fuse them in the Neon Cave, then raise four Luminous Neons for a Mega Neon: Oryx x16 in total.
