About the Golden Dragon
You can hatch it today from the Basic Egg, Crystal Egg, Admin Abuse Egg, Gemstone Egg; the Gemstone Egg gives it about a 1.7% chance per hatch.
Like every pet it comes in 12 forms: normal, Neon and Mega Neon, each on its own, Ride, Fly or Fly Ride. A Mega Neon Fly Ride Golden Dragon takes 16 full grown Golden Dragons plus a Fly-A-Pet Potion (255 Robux) and a Ride-A-Pet Potion (130 Robux).
It learns 6 tricks as it grows, from Sit as a Newborn to Dance at Full Grown.

Where to get the Golden Dragon

Neon and Mega Neon planner
4 full grown make 1 Neon; 4 Luminous Neons make 1 Mega Neon (16 pets in all).

What it costs to hatch a Golden Dragon
| Egg | Chance per hatch | Eggs on average | For one Golden Dragon | For a Mega Neon (16) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1.7% | 60 | - | - | |
| 0.40% | 250 | - | - | |
| 0.36% | 280 | - | - | |
| 0.02% | 5,769 | - | - |
Averages: luck varies a lot, and you could hatch it on the first try or much later. Free eggs from the Task Board and age-ups lower the real cost.
Tips for the Golden Dragon
- Hatch the Gemstone Egg: it gives the Golden Dragon the best odds (about 1.7% per hatch). Each one takes 5 tasks to hatch.
- You need 4 full grown Golden Dragons for one Neon, so keep aging the copies you get instead of trading them away early.
- Only one of the four pets you fuse needs Fly or Ride: the Neon (and later the Mega Neon) keeps it. That saves buying a potion for every copy.
- Fuse them in the Neon Cave, then raise four Luminous Neons for a Mega Neon: Golden Dragon x16 in total.
- Legendary pets are the rarest roll in every egg, so budget for a lot of hatches (see the cost table above).
