How are Sol's RNG odds calculated?
Each roll has a 1 in X chance. Luck divides X, so 2x luck turns 1 in 1,000,000 into 1 in 500,000. On average you need X ÷ luck rolls, but it is random: the chance of getting it within N rolls is 1 − (1 − 1/X)^N.
What does "expected rolls" mean?
It is the average number of rolls over many players. Half of players get it sooner and some get it much later, so the calculator also shows the time to reach a 50% and a 90% chance.
