About the Triceratops

It is no longer sold or hatched (it used to come from the Fossil Egg), so the only way to get one now is trading with another player.

Like every pet it comes in 12 forms: normal, Neon and Mega Neon, each on its own, Ride, Fly or Fly Ride. A Mega Neon Fly Ride Triceratops takes 16 full grown Triceratopss plus a Fly-A-Pet Potion (255 Robux) and a Ride-A-Pet Potion (130 Robux).

It learns 4 tricks as it grows, from Sit as a Newborn to Jump at Teen.

  3. Pre-TeenSparkle as a NeonBeg
  4. TeenFlare as a NeonJump
  5. Post-TeenSunshine as a Neon-
  6. Full GrownLuminous as a Neon-

Each age teaches a trick. Neons and Mega Neons go through their own six ages, ending at Luminous.

Where to get the Triceratops

Per-hatch chance = the egg's odds for this rarity, shared evenly by that rarity's pets.

Neon and Mega Neon planner

4 full grown make 1 Neon; 4 Luminous Neons make 1 Mega Neon (16 pets in all).

Tips for the Triceratops

  1. It can only be traded for now. Check what it is going for in several places before you trade, and only ever trade through the in-game trade window.
  2. You need 4 full grown Triceratopss for one Neon, so keep aging the copies you get instead of trading them away early.
  3. Only one of the four pets you fuse needs Fly or Ride: the Neon (and later the Mega Neon) keeps it. That saves buying a potion for every copy.
  4. Fuse them in the Neon Cave, then raise four Luminous Neons for a Mega Neon: Triceratops x16 in total.
