About the Lava Wolf
It is no longer sold or hatched, so the only way to get one now is trading with another player.
Like every pet it comes in 12 forms: normal, Neon and Mega Neon, each on its own, Ride, Fly or Fly Ride. A Mega Neon Fly Ride Lava Wolf takes 16 full grown Lava Wolfs plus a Fly-A-Pet Potion (255 Robux) and a Ride-A-Pet Potion (130 Robux).
It learns 4 tricks as it grows, from Sit as a Newborn to Jump at Teen.

Where to get the Lava Wolf
It is not in any egg or shop right now: trading is the only way to get one.
Per-hatch chance = the egg's odds for this rarity, shared evenly by that rarity's pets.
Neon and Mega Neon planner
4 full grown make 1 Neon; 4 Luminous Neons make 1 Mega Neon (16 pets in all).
Tips for the Lava Wolf
- It can only be traded for now. Check what it is going for in several places before you trade, and only ever trade through the in-game trade window.
- You need 4 full grown Lava Wolfs for one Neon, so keep aging the copies you get instead of trading them away early.
- Only one of the four pets you fuse needs Fly or Ride: the Neon (and later the Mega Neon) keeps it. That saves buying a potion for every copy.
- Fuse them in the Neon Cave, then raise four Luminous Neons for a Mega Neon: Lava Wolf x16 in total.
- Legendary pets are the rarest roll in every egg, so budget for a lot of hatches (see the cost table above).
